Jennifer Grey got herself into a bad auto accident

Jennifer Grey knows how to dance, however after an automobile accident several years ago, it seemed as if she might never dance again. Grey talked to Zap2It. She explained that she talked to a neurological spine surgeon since she was having really bad pain in her neck. She really wanted to opportunity of being on DWTS. This is what motivated her for making an appointment with the surgeon she heard had worked on dancer Karina Smirnoff. Grey had never had the right treatment for the accident that tore ligaments in her neck. Grey was told by the surgeon that her spinal cord was compressed as a result of the degenerated condition. Any blow that caused even a minor shift would cause permanent paralysis. Grey decided it was time for surgery. She got her neck fused. In the process of that procedure, the doctor certain her to have a benign nodule removed.

A new neck and no-cancer is what Jennifer Grey ended up with

Now she can be able to do well on “Dancing with the Stars.” Jennifer Grey only went through treatment for the show. That is how Dancing With the Stars saved her life. “I was so frightened of the surgery, I didn’t want to even consider that it would be successful. And it was so successful, I proceeded to do everything else on my ‘to-do’ list that I was afraid of, including doing this show,” Grey told Zap2It. “I figure that if I don’t do it now, I’ll be too old for it. My body is clearly giving out.”
