As of today, Miley Cyrus has officially cleared up the rumors that she has dated Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. She has now confirmed that the rumors are indeed true and that she dated Nick for a period of two years in total. She said that they decided to end things where they started to argue and flight a lot and that it became too hard for her to handle. She stated that everyone around them was becoming aware of their problems with the relationship and so they felt it was the best thing for both of them to end the relationship.
She said that they would probably remain as very close or best friends for the rest of their lives and that one day she may even marry Nick Jonas because of how deeply she felt love for him in the past. According to Access Hollywood she has decided to make this information public because of the fact that she is tired of misleading people about the relationship, which is now part of her, past.
It is not known why Miley decided to reveal this information because she has always denied it and this news comes just two days after Joe Jonas appeared on the Ryan Seacrest show along with his brothers to promote their upcoming album. He was asked about his relationship with Selena Gomez and he admitted that it was true even though Selena has recently appeared at a Bop photo shoot and claimed that the rumors of her dating Joe are not true.
So, it looks like Selena is now in denial mode but she has been ousted by Joe while Nick is in denial about his past with Miley who has now ousted him by talking about their relationship. I can’t say what it is that would make a star want to mislead his or her fans but if I had to bet I would think it is for the money.
It is a known fact that fans tend to purchase records more often when they feel there is a possibility that the star is available. Since the fan would like a chance to date the star it is more profitable for the star to deny that they are in a relationship so that they can sell their records to hopeful fans. The next time we hear rumors about relationships with our favorite stars we should believe them and continue to support our favorite artists for their music and not their love life.
